Our club was born and is growing up around a philosophy that
is still very clear to all its members: We are not here to
compete and win, but to have fun with friends and School
mates, sharing a common hobby: the sport of rugby. Therefore,
there are several key issues that must be highlighted:
- Studies have all the priority: training time-tables,
competitions, etc. are subordinated to lectures and examinations.
We practice rugby to be able to carry on our shoulders the heavy
academic burden of our School.
- Friendship is above performance: The secondary target
of sporting victory is subordinated to the main one of to have
fun, know people and develop friendship links with people who
study, most of them, the same degree. Thus, social activities of
the club have, at least, the same importance than the sporting ones.
- On a rugby pitch there is room for everyone: High fitness
or technical qualities are not asked to anyone to join the club, just
commitment and willingness to improve.
