9.0 What is pdfmark?

pdfmark is a PostScript operator that allows for the inclusion of PDFfeatures when the PostScript file is converted to PDF.


9.1 Where can I get documentation?

Currently, Adobe provides information on pdfmark at http://www.adobe.com/supportservice/devrelations/devtechnotes.html and ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/DeveloperSupport/TechNotes in TechNote #5150. Copies of Acrobat Distiller also ship with a copy of the pdfmark Reference Manual in PDF.


9.2 How do I use pdfmark to define Weblinks?

        [ /Rect [ 50 425 295 445 ]
        /Action << /Subtype /URI /URI (http://www.adobe.com) >>
        /Border [ 0 0 2 ]
        /Color [ .7 0 0 ]
        /Subtype /Link
        /ANN
        pdfmark

Just replace http://www.adobe.com with the URL of your choice. See the pdfmark document for more information.


9.3 How do I use pdfmark to define a BaseURL?

[ /URI << /Base (http://www.adobe.com) >> /DOCVIEW pdfmark

Replace http://www.adobe.com above with the URL of your choice. You can specify this anywhere within a PostScript document.


9.4 How do I use pdfmark to define an HTML form area?
